Would you agree the "elite" college and hs students tend to have and do these?

Under Armour apparel(guys)

Lacoste, Ralph Lauren(guys)

Sports
Lacrosse, Ice Hockey(guys)
Tennis, dance, gymnastics figure skate(girls)

Anything else you can think feel free to add. Would you agree these seem to be what the "cooler" students tend to have?

How can I take my old bearings off my skateboard wheels?

My old set if wheels broke,so I bought new ones, but I want to use the same bearings. Now I can't take the bearings off.

I like to use a hex key (I have one with my skate tool). I put the short end under the bearing, then pry the bearing off. I've never damaged the bearing doing it this way. If your bearings are a little difficult to take out because of dirt, wipe it off as best you can and oil it a bit, then try again.

concusion on skateboard?

on may 17 2008, i was riding my old fashioned skateboard down a steep road when i reached the speed my board can handle,when i went realy fast,my board got extremely wobbly.i jumped off so i wouldnt bang into a car or have a faceplant,but when i jumped,my feet couldnt run at the same speed.i went down on the side of my head,skinned my arm and knee,and had a concussion.i went to my uncles house to get my skin fixed and after that went to the hospital.i couldnt even remember anything afterr my fall.i couldnt even remember that i walked home.well at the hospital,i got a cat scan of my head to make sure nothing is wrong with my brain.it came back normal.jeez that fall damaged the side of my head bad.i didnt have any protective gear while going at like 20mph on my skate board!!!!my head still hurts.anyone else got a concusion falling off a skate board at like,a high speed?im only 11 years old :).my uncle ran to help me.after that,i forgot what happend.my mom freaked out at me not rememberin

Not on a skateboard, no but on my bike at your age. I was trying to break my speed record on my bike and hit some gravel. I barely remember biking home and vaugely remember my neighbors taking me to the ER.

Just be careful of your head for the next few weeks. Head injuries are nothing to mess with. I lost a friend because he decided to play football against doctors orders two weeks after a serious concussion. He was tackled and hurt his head again and his body just stopped. He had too much swelling in his brain. I'm not trying to scare you. Just be careful. My friend was only 18.

Snowboarding gear online?

Ok much better question this time around. I've been shopping around for some new snowboard gear. I'm new to it so I have done a lot of research but still I am a little lost on what to get. I have skateboarded they say that's not very close, but I have freeboarded which is basically snowboarding on pavement.

First question I had was I have been looking at stuff online and I came across a couple place http://www.proboardshop.com/ and http://www.the-house.com/ both seem reasonable but you never know when buying things online. Anybody heard about or purchased from either?

Second question would be anybody know a good beginner to intermediate level board?

I've purchased from the house and know people who've bought from proboardshop.com both good companies to order from. Some other ones you could look at would be.
