I am learning to skateboard and are there any tips on how to ollie and how to drop in on a ramp? I had tried to drop in a few times and I have hurt myself every time so any tips please? Any tips about ollying, dropping in, or just skateboarding.

The best truck I've ever skated were Krux, they stay tight if you need them to, I've never snapped a kingpin in all the time I've skated them, and you can usually get last season's models for about half the usual price! But choosing the right truck is one of those personal preference things.
I'd definitely avoid Thunder though, as they snap kingpins like there's no tomorrow.

Go for an Almost dude, Element are a complete joke right now, they have lost the plot when it comes to supporting skateboarding.
They also have introduced a stupid new system where their decks come in one of 20 different shapes, so if you find a shape that you like, you' have to count on your shop ordering at least 20 element decks in at the same time, and then there's no telling if the size would be the same either.
What a waste of time!
Almost decks are also made by Dwindle, the same distribution company that do Blind and enjoi etc.
They have got some really nice construction going on right now, I've had a couple of enjoi boards recently that have lasted me ages.
Almost also offer the impact support model, and Blind have the eternal life boards, which add some extra strength to your board.
I'd say Almost or Blind would be a good choice!
