what all gear is needed to sk8board. My mom thinks i should wear tons of pads and gear, She even asked if i would wear football pants. what all gear would i need and advise on the football stuff
The football pants might be a bit excessive.
Your basic pad set for skating are a helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards.
If you've never skated before, wearing all the pads is good until you get the hang of skating. I've been skating for nearly 30 years and here's what pads I wear for what type of skating.
Pools and bowls – Full pads
Local skatepark – helmet (required)
Backyard ramps – no pads or helmet
Street – no pads or helmet (unless required by local ordinance)
Big Ramps – full pads
Longboard cruising -no pads or helmet
Garage bombing – knee and elbow pads + slide gloves
Trail riding – Knee pads and slide gloves or just garden gloves if no sliding
Hill bombing/downhill racing – Motocross helmet and leathers with hip pads.

Longboaders from the Original crew hit up some of the Beast Coast’s best terrain. A true blend of longboarding styles, riders and boards; longboard freeride, with no hype, no hassles and no cars to worry about. This video has nothing to do with wheels, freeride or otherwise.
All longboards ridden in this video were made by Original Skateboards. All trucks are Original S6, S8 or S10 longboard trucks.
It is official. The word freeride has now been played out.

Link me to websites with figure skating dresses.
Also, any custom designers.
Some websites have plain dresses, so more practice-like dresses. If you like those, but think they are too plain, You can always rhinestone them or have someone do that for you. Some also have fancy ones. You could aso probably contact the people to make you a custom one, if they are in your area.

This website has semi-fancy dresses. Depends on what you consider fancy. I think they are more under the category of fancy practice dresses.

I am not sure about custom designers because I don't know where you live. Also, I don't know too many designers because my mom has made all of my dresses because she's a pretty famous designer in my area.
