There is a site called Go Longboard, they sell nice boards built well but seem a little bit expensive.The Custom 35 Longboard is about $219.

Then there is the Sector 9 Gremmie. They are around $189.

I was wondering what everyone else thinks. 
 
I am leaning towards the Custom 34 Longboard but if anyone has any reasons they think the Gremmie would be better, please let me know. 

The build for my Custom 35 is really nice but I can seem to find more good remarks for the Gremmie.

I’ve been taking a “break” for awhile now, so I decided I needed to just get off my butt and throw a pivot video out there. Saliaris here who actually has been making Pivot videos made this video on MGS Skateboard theme song, so I decided to kinda try my own method out. The skits in this video can have framerates ranging from 14-32 FPS. I was trying my best to sync the animation with the music. It’s a bit choppy here and there, but no whining! Hope you like it! And keep an eye out for my future Pivot projects!

i think "fragile" sounds the best. 911 as in emergency can be confused w/ the tragedy 9/11 and idk..people might not like it…

undiscovered is kinda corny ( and the name of that ashlee simpson movie…)

Hi! I’m just new to skateboarding… I actually found skateboarding a bit easy at first until I found out how to stop the skateboard properly and also, I want to know how to sustain a manual (or if you have an easier or a better trick for someone new to skateboarding) since my reflexes tend to stop me from doing these things… So please give me some tips on how to do these things properly!

Hola, have found my way back to longboarding after 2 decades. Any input would be appreciated on where I could get a skate tool (wheel, truck), knee and elbow pads. Good quality stuff. Thanks in advance!

Local skate shop. Skateboard hardware is standard, so pick the tool that works best for you. I like the Alpha tool. Very compact, fits on your keychain.

Good pads are expensive. Expect to pay around $100 for a set of knee and elbow pads. Another $20-30 for wrist guards and $30 for a helmet

i wanted to learn how to skateboard and my dad gave me a giftcard for amazon
but, considering i’ve always wanted to but never actually did learn about skateboarding i don’t know where to start
any suggestions on books, gear, shoes??

My brother is a skateboarder so he is going to write this answer.

For shoes, I would go with DC’s and/or Vans.

For gear, I just use a helmet but if your starting out and are klutzy use knee pads and elbow pads.

For books, just go to the library and ask for skateboarding books. Also just go on YouTube and type in ‘How To Skateboard’.
