i need to have some protective support gear for my bboying….i need a skateboard helmet which is ideal for headspins as it protects the head and also increases performance, so please help me find one in Delhi…thanks

You could try making a headspin beanie. Get a beanie (cheap.. doesn’t matter), sew a strip of mesh on the outside of the beanie & stuff something soft like something spongey on the inside.

How much weight can a skateboard hold?

yo, im thinking of starting skating again but ive gained pretty much weight over the years. i now weight about 116kg or about 260lbs with all my gear up. I’m thinking of buying a decent board with size 7.75-8.0 so how would that work?

Well it’s all preferences, I can’t tell you what deck size you should get. But since you’re 260lbs I’m assuming that you have big feet, and since you’re a little bit heavier than most other skaters too, I suggest getting a 8.25 DLX board (DLX makes Antihero, Real, and Krooked decks). I’m riding an Antihero right now and I’ve borrowed my friends’ Krooked before, and I gotta tell ya, those decks are good. They are made with quality wood and the wood were glued together professionally, not like decks that are made in China (Enjoi, Element,etc…). I weight 178 lbs and and this Antihero have lasted me for more than 4 months, and my friends’ Krooked have lasted about 6 months already and my friends are all street skaters and they love to jump stairs and their decks haven’t shown any signs of snapping anytime soon. Of course these decks might break sooner for you (4-5 months) or they can last really long (6 months to 7 months) but I really suggest you get a DLX board (either Antihero, Krooked or Real)

Im am soo interested into skateboarding .
last night i bought a board for like $30 and when i was lookin i didnt really know what to look for or what a good board is so i just bought something with pretty good reviews.

I notice alot of skinny people skate…
I am not the skinniest girl out there soo im not really confortable.
I would love some advice about that???
i am 5′7” and 160lbs. Muscle weighs more than fat soo thats why i weigh alot. i am very atheltic. but i mean like…im not ALL MUSCLE u kno…im just like..i have an athletic body…LMAO off topic >:o!
but i mean like theres some weight i could lose around my tummy and arms and stuff…
My board hasnt came in the mail yet and so im going to diet and excersize and try to get skinny while learning how to skateboard and then when christmas comes around my plan is to get a pro skateboard and some gear and maybe some clothes :] and me and my friend are going to hot the skateparks.
Dont think of me as a freakin poser and stuff.
Theres a new girl that came to our school and she has cleft lip and shes a skateboarder and she dont have alot of freinds and stuff so ive been talkin to her and she inspired me into skateboarding- luv her to death :] buut yeeahhh anywayssss….

Yeah Nice Deck but before u get all excited, skateboarding is a lot of work ive been skating for a year anna half, my friends all 3 and plus i cant ollie yet. but when you get frustrated just wait until your ready to try again then go at it with heart. Its about fun enjoy yourself!!!!!!
