A 20 minute documentary done for my documentary class. The film is focused on a high school student and his version of the American dream through the passion of skating. The title “I’d Rather Be Skating” is taken form the quotes of Alex Jasmine, he cuts class to skate. This video was created by On Fire Productions, which is now a part of WhiteTree Media. All the credits are in the end of the video. The dvd version includes commentary and bloopers.

I have never been on a date or anything and no guys ever like me.
Im 16 have long wavy auburn hair and green eyes, dont wear much makeup
5’3, healthy weight, im a vegetarian
a little quiet in school but generally chill and enjoy adventure and im outgoing around friends
I like older rock and alternative music, if i could only listen to one band for the rest of my life I would pick Radiohead
I wear inexpensive clothes from second hand places and thrift shops, mostly retro/vintage style plus some stuff from nicer stores
I skateboard (but im not punk), horseback, play piano and guitar but cant sing haha
I enjoy painting and sketching and I used to dance ballet
I like the woods and geocaching, I am a decent surfer but only can surf in the summer, I have a job at a music store in my town
at school I don’t have many friends because I have a hard time connecting with people because I usually have different interests so I am alone a lot but thats fine by me
I’m a weird person I guess so no guys ever like me. Do you think I could ever date a normal chill, interesting and funny guy???
You sound like a 16 year old, female version of myself!
I too also had / have trouble connecting with a lot of "typical" people.
It sure helps once you get out of high school though, all those social cliques are broken down and you kind of get an idea of where to find the kind of people you would find compatible.
I guess you just gotta wait it out until then, get yourself mentally prepared and stuff 
Maybe even look in the places you wouldn’t usually think of meeting guys.
I know when I was 16 I was looking out for girls like you, only I didn’t know where to start!

Ok so i need some websites that have COMPLETE skateboards.. i really want name brand ones but, there expensive, you know? i want to learn how to skateboard but need a skateboard first. Anyone know any? Like any kind just cheap! THANKS!! (:
Go to your local skate shop. Get an entry level complete. It will set you back $50-80.
