I have looked at Fallen, Etnies, Adidas, DC, and Es.
fallen, es, nike sb, dvs, vans and emerica have all been great shoes for me and last a good while. No matter what your shoes will fall apart grip tape is heck on shoes so if you do a lot of tricks the quicker they’ll fall apart, most of my shoes last me over 4-5 months and I skate a lot, those are some of the only brands i’ll use because they’ll last me a while. etnies are crap, never tied adias skate shoes and dc are comfortable but they just never lasted long enough for me. Not everyone skates the same so what works for me may or may not work so great for you, mostly it’ll be trial and error. I’ve had lots of time to find out what does work and they are making shoes better and better everyday.
Hello friends. This Chirstmas I am stumped and need your help. I need a good gift for my b/f, but he is really hard to buy for. I can’t keep buying him guitar picks and vintage t-shirts. He plays both the acoustic and bass guitar. He also really likes to skateboard. Even if you know nothing about these things but you have a really good idea for a gift, please fill free to give me some advice. If you know of any good PS2 games that would be helpful to. Thanks
You have 2 1/2 months why are you worrying about this. You should be worrying about what kind of candy you are going to give out this year or what costume you are going to wear to the halloween party. Next in line would be who is going to cook turkey and where are you meeting for Thanksgiving. You are thinking way too far ahead. Listen to him for the next month and you will figure something out.

So this is a project I recently started called Roots. It was originally a pitch to Nokia for an experimental documentary digging into the world of ‘action sports’. I put those in quotes because there is debate over what they really are. Some say sport, some say art, while many say lifestyle. This will probably always be in question, but what is certain is that the ‘action sports’ movement has changed the shape of our world. Everything from pop culture to architecture. Roots digs into why we are who we are and why it matters.
I’m not gunna dig too much further into it, but just know that I am not just being lazy out there!

I have etnies ryan sheckler and when I started doing kickflips my toe of the shoe is just starting to become a massive hole I’ve only been trying to kickflip a month and it’s really annoying I’m going to have to buy a new pair of shoes. Any advice on what are the most durable skateboarding shoes and anyway to stop them wearing away so quickly again?
Back in the day, when I was really into skateboarding I had the same problem with the top right portion of my right shoe when I ollie. Same as doing Kick-flips you tend to brush the portion on the grip-tape which is practically like sanding away that portion of your shoe. What my skateboarding friends did back then is we use just one particular pair just for skateboarding (doesn’t matter what brand) and put padding on the portion where it gets weared out. It would be preferrable to have the pad as the same color as the portion of the shoe, it could be a rubber pad or synthetic leather. In my case the portion was black and I cut a rubber pad to the same shape as the patern of the portion of my shoe. This way the padding will be worn out and you can just replace the padding without having the shoe damaged at all.

hmm. Thats kinda hard. I think i would say Vintage skater. Why? because way back when skaters usally wore a pair of jeans and a button up shirt. So i think vintage skter would be a perfect name for that particular style.)hint , some girls love the whole skater look. I no because my sis loves it.)
I don’t want those walmart type of skateboards that break easily, but something more professional like the companies i described above
