My old set if wheels broke,so I bought new ones, but I want to use the same bearings. Now I can't take the bearings off.
I like to use a hex key (I have one with my skate tool). I put the short end under the bearing, then pry the bearing off. I've never damaged the bearing doing it this way. If your bearings are a little difficult to take out because of dirt, wipe it off as best you can and oil it a bit, then try again.
USe a screw driver and hammer. Insert the screwdriver into the middle of the wheel. Hammer it into the oppsite bushing that your putting the screw driver in. If this doesn't work, use grease like wd-40 and let it sit over night. Hope this helps!!

You are actually suppose to clean the bearings on your skateboard or it slows you down. And they are probably so dirty they're going to be harder to get off.
If your skateboard had some kind of special bearing shields, you will need to remove these too. If your wheels use spacers, make sure to keep them for when you put wheels back onto your skateboard.
Then place the wheel back on the skateboard truck's axle, but just barely. You want to hook the tip of the axle inside the bearings, only letting it touch the bearing and not the wheel.
Then pry the wheel downward. Sometimes they are b*thces and it may not come right away. Pry as hard as you want, the bearings might break but you probaly plan on throwin' em' away anyway.
There are tools you can use for this job, and usually you can get em' at Skateboard Shop, but truthfully they are kinda pointless to me. If it doesn't work, take your board to a skate shop and they'll usually do it for free.
Hopefully that helps!

Personal experience.
Use a screw driver, and stick it into the bearing you want to get out, and put your palm on the wheel, press down with all your weight with your palm, and pry out the bearing with the screw driver.
By doing this your using leverage to pry out the bearing, i do this everytime i need to take out my bearings and it hasnt failed me yet.
Good luck, i wish i could explain better but i would have to be there with you
