Is Creature a good brand for skateboard decks? my son wants a skateboard for his birthday.?

My son wants a board for his birthday, and i can get a good deal on a Creature deck. Is this a decent brand?
Creature decks are the shiz; yeah, they are good decks. Creature is part of NHS. The same company that makes Independent, Santa Cruz, Krux, Ricta MOB, Nor Cal, Aiti-Crime and Bullet. They have been making boards for over 30 years. Both Santa Cruz and Creature decks are made from Canadian hard rock maple in the same facility in California
Creature skateboards are not a well known brand anymore but to some brand names dont matter.

yeah i have been skating for about a year and i was wonder what board i should get next, right now i have an alien workshop that is about to snap i was thinking creature or Santa cruz, which one is better for pop,how light it is and durability
I have a creature board, and compared to my other boards, it has lasted the longest and has proved to be a great brand! I’ve had it for a couple of years now.
