Stereoscopic 3D Skateboarding, Wind Tunnel, Snowboarding – for Superbowl 3D anaglyph glasses

Watch in HD with yellow/blue 3D glasses.
This is a short anaglyph collection of stereoscopic 3D Atnalta skateboarding, Paraclete XP wind tunnel, and Keystone Colorado snowboarding footage, all shot in early 2008. Enjoy!
To view this video you will need yellow-blue glasses with the blue lens on the right eye.
All footage was shot and edited in stereoscopic HD by Eric Deren.
Song is “Innocence” by Gary Pfaff ( http://www.garypfaff.com/ ) from the “White Stars” album, available on iTunes and CDBaby.
This was not encoded using the Colorcode (TM) process, but it is compatible with any yellow-blue glasses that also work with the Superbowl 2009 3D commercials featuring characters from the Dreamworks film “Monsters vs. Aliens” and Sobe lizards. These glasses also promote Intel’s Intru3D ™ concept. They were also used in the March issue of People Magazine.
For best results, view the video from a distance of at least 6x the width of the video on your screen. This means that if you watch it at full screen on a 20″ monitor you need to sit/stand at least 6 feet (2 meters) away to get the best effect.
For those of you that are going to ask, no, you can not convert 2D to 3D by just tinting the image and shifting it over. There is NO automated way to convert 2D to 3D, it can only be done with hours and hours of painstaking work for every second of footage. There is a difference between creating stereoscopic cues and actually presenting stereoscopic 3D footage. Anyone who tries to sell you a box that does this automatically is assuming that you have no idea what real 3D is.

hmm i duno i bough glasses and they dont work so well with any movies or clips here should red be fliped to right some time?
also it doesn’t work well with my bloody valentine? and maybe some time images leaves ghost is this result of bad glasses ?

So some guy emailed …
So some guy emailed me (drew stephens/drew tv) asking about my anaglyph techniques- just I like asked a few people last year;) SO I”m looking at his stuff and I see this vid on the side. Looks like the “one trick pony show” has been holding out on us!! The ironic true point to this story is that I am literally about to mail you a copy of my vid.

wow, very, very impressive on the skate section, the depth settings were perfect.!! I’m still struggling with getting the right to greyscale and the left to the RG channels correctly.
