This longboarding tutorial is brought to you by motionboardshop.com.
There are so many longboard products on the market these days that the buying process can be overwhelming. We wanted to make a video to help guide you so you can be sure to buy the set of wheels that is right for you and the way you’ll be using them. There are a variety of durometers, widths, sizes, eurythanes and configurations when it comes to wheels and we’ve tried to break it down into simple terms.
There are riders who may disagree with what we say but we’re just trying to provide you with a general guideline based on how the manufacturers intended the wheels to be used. Obviously though, there are guys who will bomb hills with slide wheels and do just fine.
We have many more videos on the way to give you the basics on trucks, bearings, bushings, decks and other accessories. If you have more specific questions, don’t hesitate to call and talk to an expert today.

the tunnel rocks …
the tunnel rocks looks sweet, but set aside from the whole size barrier, cuz these are small trucks, what do you prefer as cruser freeride wheel, 4 prez’s , fat free’s, zig’s, gumballs, tunell rocks, or is there something out there better for this king of riding

Yeah the Fat Frees …
Yeah the Fat Frees are great freeride wheel. We have them in stock indeedy. However, for cruising, you may want a stickier wheel like the tunnel rocks (amazing!) We’re in the Lake Forest Park neighborhood of Seattle 17230 Bothell Way NE Lake Forest Park, WA 98155 206.372.5268

it depends on if …
it depends on if you’re getting wheel bite with the cambrias, you just need to have enough clearance since the trucks are so leany. If you’re not getting wheelbite then you might be able to get away with 65mm Fat Free Orangatangs.

what is your …
what is your cruiser board? It kinda depends on the deck, is it top mount or drop through? If it’s a top-mount you should go smaller than 70mm, like Superballs. Zigzags are also a good option b/c they perform the best for the price. Anything cheaper and you lose the quality and performance.
