Warning: this video is mostly talking, though there is a considerable chunk of skateboarding in it. In this video, I acquaint myself with some 49mm wheels from Better Skateboarding:

Better Skateboarding Wheels claim to be resistant to flatspots, as well as being really fast. In this clip, I go over a set of 49mm wheels that the sent me, and I offer up some footage of the type of skating I did on them for a few weeks… sliding, reverting, and other things that make your wheels go *skrrrrtttkt*.

All in all, Better Skateboarding makes a good, durable, classic-style urethane (as opposed to the plastic-like urethane from Bones STF, SPF, and similar formulas).

Coming up next will be a review on a set of 54mm wheels, also from Better Skateboarding. In the next review, I’ll focus primarily on the speed claim and see how they react.
