Got my custom 35 … Got my custom 35 about 2 weeks ago… best money I’ve spent in a year
Just keep on getting sad whenever I damage it I scraped a bit of the fiberglass topping off the rails when I was trying old school kick flips… and no I’m worried something terrible is going to happen :/
I’m thinking about … I’m thinking about getting this board but I was wondering what wheels would be the best for cruising through relatively flat streets. Thanks.
Hey Schu,
The … Hey Schu,
The Custom 35 will work for the flatlands, but is meant more specifically for hills. A better flatland board would be the Hybrid.. this board has a concave and a kicktail to help out carving on sidewalks and popping the curbs. I think that this will be a good board for what you’re looking to do! Thanks, and let us know if you have any other questions!
thats kind of a … thats kind of a bummer because my local skateboard shop doesnt even sell s9 nor loaded longboards.and every time i go in there they try to give me a hard time like i was looking at some boards the guy said can you even ride a skateboard!! thats why i go original im getting the terrapin 34
start off with a s9 … start off with a s9. there really good beginner boards. my first was the s9 cosmic series 33″. then moved to the 46″ uluwatu. then competed in the challenge series and got 150 dollars off the dervish.
so start with a s9. there really good. then once you get better move up to a loaded
oh ok. i dont … oh ok. i dont really know much about originals board names and figured you were talking about the custom 35 since you commented on it haha
my bad
but i think the … but i think the terrapin can only up to 62mm wheels but they do have some orange/clear cambria wheels.i think im going to get those or the blue ones to match the graphics of the board
Jboid,
The thing … Jboid,
The thing about the 35 is that it is an all around board that specializes in carving. This being said, with just a slight tightening of the kingpin, you’ll be able to take the 35 from an intense hill carver, to a smooth cruiser. I feel that this would make the 35 more versatile because you can have that smooth fast ride, with the option to get into intense carving. If you’re looking to get into cross stepping and dancing, you should take a look at the Apex 37. Thanks, I hope this helps!
i live in NJ and am wondering where some of these spots are. also, i have a s9mini board and am looking to move up to more of a cruiser/carver. what board out of the original lineup would be best for carving medium sized hills and cruising
get the dervish. idk wat to do. i got the custom 35 and thot it was pretty good but it wobbles really badly when tryin to just do downhill.wat should i do?????
